What are you trying to understand?
Start with the roles of transactions, digital signatures, proof of work, and the network. The original whitepaper is a useful primary source; it is not a complete guide to modern wallets or personal financial decisions.
Ask practical questions
- Who controls the keys, and what happens if they are lost?
- What does a transaction cost, and when is it confirmed?
- What information becomes public?
- How would price changes affect the purpose you have in mind?
Use primary sources
Read the Bitcoin whitepaper, explore the Bitcoin overview, and compare what you learn with the data in the Bitcoin Dashboard.
Keep learning separate from spending
The Trading Sim provides a place to practice order mechanics with simulated points. It does not require sending Bitcoin or SOL, and practice profits cannot be withdrawn.
