THE JOURNAL / MONEY, XP & THE LONG GAME

A life in progress.
A case study in public.

The games change. The player keeps learning. This is where the personal story, the philosophy and the experiments come together.

OCTOBER 8, 2026 / DECISION CASE STUDY · POLICY, NOT PERFORMANCE

Giving profit a destination.

The game: Build toward LOLA’s HOME while learning through a bounded trading experiment.

My decision: Start with a $1,000 trading mandate. At a 20% gain in settled balance after trading costs, allocate half the profit to native BTC for the cold wallet. Keep the other half trading. No tax provision is deducted within this rule; tax obligations remain separate.

What happened: We defined the rule and built a calculator and paper-research workflow around it. This is an implemented policy, not evidence that an agent has earned the first withdrawal.

Money impact: The $1,000 → $1,200 → $100 banked / $1,100 retained sequence is an illustration. No realized profit or banked BTC is claimed by this entry.

XP reflection: The question I’m exploring is whether a clear rule can connect the process of learning to a meaningful destination. I’ll return to that question as the experiment develops.

Next review: Compare results after costs, including losing periods, before deciding whether the process deserves live capital.

FOUNDER’S NOTE / SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 · PHILOSOPHY

Player since 1979.

I grew up before the internet. Atari and Commodore. Nintendo, Sega, Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. PlayStation and N64. Chess, football, wrestling, basketball, baseball and poker.

Now I’m playing the Bitcoin game and the content creation game. BTCisGTO is a case study of my life and philosophy. Money is one way to keep score. XP—experiences and happiness—is another.

The goal is to share what I’m building and learning, with the evidence beside the claims. LOLA’s HOME has two meanings: Heaven on Meta Earth, and Holistic Organic Medicinal Eco-villa / Resort / Farm. It gives the financial experiment a destination. The experience of building it is part of the point.

HOW TO READ THIS JOURNAL

Belief. Experiment. Evidence.

Personal reflections describe a point of view. Experiments describe a test. Results need supporting records. Those are different kinds of claims.

REFLECTION PROMPTS / NO SCORES RECORDED

What did this chapter earn?

Money: what came in, what went out, and what was banked? XP: what did I experience, learn and enjoy? What would I do differently?

No happiness scores or personal performance results have been invented. Financial observations remain in the Treasury; local paper experiments remain in Mission Control.

Policy update / September 15, 2026

One bankroll. One banking rule.

The current mandate is $1,000 in trading capital. Bank half the settled profit at each 20% milestone toward 100M sats. No tax provision is deducted. The shared workspace now links research briefs, simulator snapshots and agent reports as local paper evidence. No live authority or verified trading profits are implied.

1M sats. A 100M-sat mission.

The starting allocation is 1,000,000 sats. The goal is a verified 100,000,000-sat reserve and groundbreaking on Lola’s HOME. Funding is not yet verified. Useful tools, one bounded research program and honest reporting come first.

  • Use BTCisGTO as the public brand and Hydra as the internal operation.
  • Keep ACES LIVE PH as a separate community and lifestyle layer.
  • Improve Edge and the simulator before expanding the tool catalog.
  • Keep paid access straightforward; defer redeemable platform credits.
  • Start with paper research. Establish a verified opening ledger.
  • Prepare land feasibility, title checks, the peso budget and permits alongside the accumulation mission.
